Clearview Services: Residential & Commercial Window Cleaning

How much does window cleaning cost?

Our minimum charge for residential services is $99 exterior only, and $149 for interior and exterior. Pricing varies on complexity, as well as how many and what type of windows you have. There are many variables, however the average exterior-only prices are $150-$200. Complete cleans are approximately on average $250-$350. Many homes can be priced higher than that due to difficulties based on height or disassembly.

When should I book?

After contacting Clearview for the first time, a representative will call or email to inform you of our availabilities for site inspection. Once site inspection is complete, we will leave you with or email you your quote. If you would like to proceed with the job, please let us know which services you’d like to book and we will discuss a potential date. Sometimes during busy periods, wait times may be 2-3 weeks. We do our best to accommodate everyone’s schedule and we appreciate your patience.

We suggest calling to book your residential window cleaning a few weeks in advance. For example, if you want your windows cleaned in June, you should call late April, early May.

How long does the project take?

The average exterior only window cleaning takes about 1-2 hours, and you usually do not have to be home. The average complete (in/out) window cleaning will take up to 3-4 hours.

Do I have to be home?

No, however, it is the client’s responsibility to grant us access. We appreciate it when clients are home, in order to have the opportunity to discuss specifics. We also like to do a final inspection to ensure you are 100% satisfied and will be calling all your friends to tell them about your amazing experience.

Many clients also make access arrangements prior to our arrival during the booking stage, so the project can be completed without you needing to be home.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain rarely affects the quality of the window cleaning. We guarantee all our work. We always try to complete as much of the project as possible. We do not mind coming back to finish or redo exterior windows if they become immediately ruined by the weather.

If the weather is bad enough that it is creating a safety hazard, we will call as early as possible to reschedule the at the next available opportunity. If we do not contact you and it is raining, you can assume we will still be showing up!

How do I pay?

Upon booking, we will request your preferred method of contact, either by phone or email. Upon completion, we can email you an invoice, which can then be paid directly through our client hub via debit or credit cards, as well as apple or google pay. You can send an E-transfer to clearviewtbay@gmail.com. You can also pay our technicians via cash, cheque, or debit/credit card. If you require a paper copy of the invoice, please let us know upon booking, you can also mail payment to us or call in a credit card.

What do I need to do to prepare?

We simply ask that you remove any breakables/valuables near the areas we will be working in, such as window frames/sills. Please ensure that our staff will be able to access the windows and any pets/ferocious animals are caged. We do work in teams and can help move any larger items (ei, furniture) if necessary, however we do not assume liability for damages caused by moving furniture or operating blinds in the manner they were designed to be used.

Do you clean the tracks and screens?

When you choose the complete clean service, this does allow for time to be spent cleaning screens and tracks, however, basement tracks can get full of dirt and sometimes screens can collect construction debris/drywall dust or paint, and this can incur extra time.

If you would like a more superior detailed job done of the tracks and screens, please advise when booking. It can often be difficult to see the extent of debris during initial inspection. Additional charges will apply for EXTRA time spent on dirty tracks and screens.

What do you put in your water?

We use a combination of mild detergents and lubricants to help cut dirt, grease and grime, as well as a lubricant to help our squeegee slide smooth. We do not use any harsh chemicals in our water.

How often should we get our windows cleaned?

We recommend cleaning the exterior of windows twice per year. Once in the spring, and once in the fall. And cleaning the interior once per year on either visit. Many people who only do it once per year wait until mid summer to ensure the pollen is all done.

How do I get a quote?

You can fill out a request on our webpage/facebook page or email us at clearviewtbay@gmail.com. You can also call us at 807 768-5069. If we are unavailable in the office right away please leave your name, address and phone number on our voicemail. A representative will contact you and visit your home to conduct a quick site inspection. We always leave quoted pricing for exterior only services, as well as complete clean (inside and out). If approving the quote through the client hub, please hit the “request changes” button and let us know which option or service you would like to proceed with.

What if I have to reschedule last minute?

A cancellation fee of $25 will be applied if a client cancels their appointment within 48 hours of their scheduled visit time. You may reschedule your booking at anytime before that. Commercial jobs exceeding 500$ are subject to a $50 cancellation fee and projects planned to exceed 1 business day will be charged an additional $25 per day of the intended project duration.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes we guarantee our work for 48h after appointment. If you are unhappy for any reason we encourage you to contact us right away. We will do our absolute best to make sure you are 100% satisfied.
